Agricultural Learning Center

Welcome to the Four States Fair Agricultural Learning Center Website! We welcome you to take a look around our website and see what we have to offer. We are excited about the opportunity to educate children of all ages on the importance of the dairy and agricultural industries in the world today and appreciate you stopping by.

The Four States Fair, in partnership with the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association (SUDIA), opened the Ag Learning Center in September of 2006. The center is the first of its kind not only in the state of Arkansas but in the four states region. Our mission is to provide dairy and nutritional educational programs as well as providing agricultural awareness to all who pass through the Ag Learning Center.

The Ag Learning Center is open year round for groups of children of all ages to participate in interactive, hands-on activities, displays, and exhibits. Located in Texarkana, Arkansas, this unique learning atmosphere offers free educational resources to teachers, parents, and adult leaders to utilize within their own community. Because of the center’s diversity, we can adapt a program to fit into teachers’ curriculums and frameworks by covering health, math, science, history, and social studies.

Each year during the Four States Fair, we hold special "Kid's Days" at the Ag Learning Center, but we are also open year round for private visits. If you have a group of kids that you think might be interested, you can register here to schedule a visit or you can can email our director, Jennifer Cowling, at jennifer@fourstatesfair.com.
